5 Stars It works well
Not a high tech product but it does what it is supposed to do. The swivel joint is nice and lets you position it so it is not so much in the way. Seems well made for this kind of item.
1 Stars $10 for 10 minutes use
I purchased this item mainly for the USB. I only had my cell phone plugged into it for about 10 minutes when I noticed the green light no longer lit and my phone no longer charging. When I pulled the unit out it was VERY HOT! When I got to work I pulled out the internal fuse and it was ok so it appears the unit is no longer functioning. Not much bang for the buck IMO.
1 Stars Nearly Caught Fire!
I had my cell phone plugged into the USB port and my GPS into one of the adapter ports (less than 2 amps of its rated 10). After about 10 minutes, I began to smell something plastic burning. It turned out to be the adapter! I nearly burned my hand removing it but fortunately it did not harm my electronics or car. Absolutely terrible quality!
5 Stars Works great for 3 devices
This power splitter effectively powers three devices: two standard car charger cords and one USB port. The USB port is great for the Ipods, Motorola devices and with a USB to mini USB adapter can keep your bluetooth enabled headset ready and waiting to be used in your vehicle. The articulated joint allows for many options to fit this adapter in almost any vehicular power port.
3 Stars nice idea but doesn’t stay put
You have to plug it a specific orientation to keep it powered while driving in my car.
An all wire splitter would work better. Or a wire between the plug and sockets would be better.
