This was ready to use and worked right out of the box. The maps are not as up-to-date as I would have expected, but I think I can update once for free if I do it right away. This is my first GPS and I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Works great! Only problem I have had is when I arrive at destination, it tells me the destination is on my right and it is on my left and visa-versa. I’ve been told that most GPS systems do this. Love it. Great value for the price. Bought a black one also for our son.

Bought 3 Garmin units. They are easy to use and quite accurate. Much better than the on board nav system in our Lexus.
