User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Great buy for the beginner!
This is just what I wanted for my husband. He loves gadgets but usually leaves it to me to read the manual and figure out how to work them. I didn’t really have to with this. It is simple and mostly self-explanatory. I’m sure that I will have to figure out what I can get it to do when connected to the internet, because he can’t work a computer.
5 Stars GPS for Dummies is SPOT-ON
For a product aimed at ‘Dummies’, this one is on target. We purchased this for a family member who is about as tech-savvy as a potato. The interface is very straight-forward, entering a destination is keenly intuitive, and guidance through the route is accurate and timely for upcoming turns. For the price of this GPS (solidly under $100), this was definitely a good buy.
As for the shipment, tracking was easy, and the shipment arrived when promised.
3 Stars Not as easy as it looks
I bought this for my mother, who is directionally and techology challenged. I had no trouble inputting info, but the route the GPS wanted to take from her house to mine was an extremely long, out-of-the-way route. I was able to change it to a more direct route, but could not save the route. I tried sending an email and calling the 800 number for the company, but no one ever responded, so I returned it.
